How to start the Raycrid Mine Additional Investigation
The Raycrid Mine Additional Investigation becomes available after the initial investigation has been completed in the main quest “Let’s Register as an Adventurer!” Once the initial investigation is done, you can start or participate in the Raycrid Mine Additional Investigation any time by opening “Missions” in the Command Menu, and selecting the “Investigations” category.
Though you are transported to the the dungeon directly when initiating the investigation via the Missions tab, the Raycrid Tunnel can be located in this part of the map:
Completion Tips
The Raycrid Mine Additional Investigation is a little bit harder than the investigation in the main quest. If you want to go through with the additional investigation, we suggest raising your Battle Score to 184 or higher, which should be enough, before participating. The investigation is pretty straightforward – you will have to go through the dungeon while defeating enemies along your way. The investigation/dungeon has a 30 minute time limit, so you can take your time in completing it or mow everyone down as fast as you can if you’re a speedrunner. Defeating the boss at the end within the time limit will complete the investigation.
Use the supplied items!
Once you start the investigation, you will receive supply items such as “Supply: Recovery Medicine G1.” These supplies can only be used while inside the dungeon and will disappear after the investigation. Since they disappear afterwards, make the most out of it and use these supplied items!

Use Feste as a Decoy
When challenging this dungeon solo, you can be accompanied by Feste as a help companion. Use her as a decoy when she takes the monsters’ attention, and attack safely from behind!
Watch out for the Boss’ stomp attack!
Apart from the normal swing attacks, the boss of this dungeon utilizes an AOE stomp attack that has a decent range. His windup is slow, and there is a red area indicator of where the attack will land. Take advantage of the slow windup, and dodge before it lands!
