The Bone Crusha Quest in Ashes of Creation
The Bone Crusha Quest can be started at the commission board in Lionhold. This is the main town that you can visit when you get out of the starting zone. It is a level 4 quest, so make sure you level up a little first or wait around and join a group in order to do this, as you will need to fight a boss.
This quest is one of our favorites as it gives just over 3000 exp and is only around the corner from the town, so you can easily rinse and repeat this if you want to power level your character.
Once you are at the commission board, look for the “The Bone Crusha” quest and select it.
Once you’ve accepted the quest, press the J key on your keyboard and open up your quest log. Select “The Bone Crusha” quest, make sure this is marked as tracked.
Then press the “Show on map” button on the top right too, as seen in the image below. This will show you a rough area where to go for the quest. You can always use our database too, by searching for the name of the enemy and our interactive map will show you the correct location.
Once you are ready, it’s time to head north out of the town, and you will see Captain Finn Hogan just outside, then make a right and into the big ruins area just under a huge archway.
As you enter this area, on your right, you will see a big set of stone stairs. Make your way up these, and you will discover the bone crusha boss tucked away on corner.
It’s now time to buff up and start fighting him. If there are other players around this area, make sure to party up with them, as this can be considered a tough enemy. And if one of your party members kills it, you will still get the quest marked as complete.
After you have defeated the boss, you will need to press the J key to open your journal again, and you can now click the “Complete Commission” button, which will make you rewarded with a huge amount of XP and the Dull Glint.
We strongly recommend doing this as often as you can, for the fast XP, which will help you level superfast, but also all the Dull Glint you receive. You can sell this at the vendor and earn loads of gold, which allows you to purchase better weapons and armor and bigger storage bags for your adventures.
