Where to find Bananas in Once Human? Is always a hot topic within the game, as some players find it extremely difficult to find them within the wilderness and, as you can not get seeds to grow them, within your farm it makes, bananas even more desirable. We have created a complete guide on what the purpose is for bananas and also the best location and tools to get them.
What is the Purpose for Bananas in Once Human?
The key purpose of bananas is to craft some unique recipes that can help your in-game character. Fat burning juice is one of the rare recipes that you can craft, which allows you to make your character more skinny. This is very useful, as if you created a character that was overweight at the start of the game, you are not permanently stuck with this appearance, unlike other games.
As seen in the image below, there is also negative and positive effects, depending on what weight class you are too.
The other key purpose for bananas is to create an Orange Pie. This food allows you to increase your character Exp gained from defeating enemies by 25% for 1800 seconds. Which can be super useful as it does not cost much to craft but can easily remove the tedious grinding element to the game.
Where to find Fat Burning Juice in Once Human?
Unlike Orange Pie, where you can get the recipe from the memetic menu, you will need to discover the recipe for Fat Burning juice in the wilderness. Fortunately, you do not need to go too far to discover it.
Head to Greywater Camp and inside the building, besides the teleporter, you will see the recipe on the table. Pick this up and learn it from your inventory. You will now be able to create this any time within the kitchen stove.
What Do Bananas Look Like in Once Human?
Bananas can be found on small banana trees all around Nalcott, especially in Broken Delta. This sounds like a simple case of just finding a banana tree and cutting it down. Although there are some banana trees that don’t give you any bananas, this is because you need to visually see the bananas on the tree in order to get them.
As seen in the photo below, you will need to check that bananas have grown on the tree. If you can not see them on the tree, you will only get logs from the tree.
What is the best way to get Bananas?
The recommended way to get bananas can be very different depending on who you talk to within the game. Some players suggest using a gold axe as it can give you additional fruit when cutting trees. But from our experience and many hours in the game. We have discovered the best way to get bananas in a large amount and, being time-efficient, is to use the Chainsaw or Advanced Chainsaw.
Comparing the gold axe to a chainsaw when cutting banana trees is a night and day difference. This is because you do not have much durability with the axe and will only gather a few bananas per time and, of course, it takes longer to cut the tree. Whereas the chainsaw cuts the tree extremely fast and the durability hardly goes down, you can also get 5–10 bananas per tree that you cut.
Best Location to Find Bananas in Once Human?
There are many locations for bananas in Once Human if you know where to look, but they are not always consistent or in a big mass, so you can not gather alot of them in one journey. However, we have shown two excellent locations that will allow you to farm an unlimited amount until you have enough.
Location 1
The best location we have found is beside the teleportation tower next to Sunbury and Sunbury Middle School. This location is definitely the best for many valed reasons. It contains more than enough banana trees in a short running distance and also has many coconut trees beside them too, if you need them as well!
But most importantly, there is a teleportation tower nearby. This means you can cut all the banana trees down and if they have not respawned in time after the last one, you can interact with the tower and change to another world. This will allow them to instantly respawn so you can farm them again.
Location 2
The second location is a very good alternative, but is not deemed the best as you will have to wait for the banana trees to respawn each time. As the teleportation tower isn’t close enough to just keep changing worlds, thankfully, the respawn time isn’t that long, and you can head into the farm area nearby to loot the buildings.
This location is just above Citrus County and near Deadsville. You will want to just head to the back of the farm area in Citrus County and you will discover lots of coconut palms and banana trees beside each other.
