Where To Find The Grumpy Bulb in Once Human
Have you ever been in a situation where you have been over run by enemies and struggled to get out? Well, the Grumpy Bulb deviation could be the solution.
Thanks to this guy disrupting all enemies and allowing them to focus on him instead of you and your team. Please see below a complete guide on the best method to obtain this deviation and all the benefits to owning it.
What Does The Grumpy Bulb Do in Once Human
The Grumpy Bulbs’ core purpose is to attract and aggro all the enemies to its location. Which is extremely useful when you are swarmed by enemies. For example, in EX1 – Silo, at the final boss, there are lots of enemies to worry about, while having to deal with the boss. This deviation just relieves some pressure from you and your team mates, which is highly effective.
Grumpy Bulb also has an attack called “Garlicify” which allows you to throw this deviation at any location and cause an AOE Status damage upon hit and disrupts the aggro of all units in the area for 10 seconds.
How Do You Get The Grumpy Bulb in Once Human
In order to get the Grumpy Bulb, you will first need to get some Onion Seeds. These can be purchased from Emma Potter, the merchant in Tall Grass Inn.
This area is only accessible in phase 2 though. Once you are able to reach Tall Grass Inn, simply just look at the container besides the teleportation tower to find the NPC.
You will notice she sells only 3 onion seeds. These do reset weekly and might not seem much, but these should be enough to get you started with how to get the Grumpy Bulb.
Once you have the seeds, open your memetics menu and unlock the three memetics – Fertilizers I, II and III, from the Logistics tab. Now that you have done this, you will want to create some Breeding Boost fertilizer.
This will allow you to have more of a chance to gather seeds when you harvest the crop. This is super effective with the Gardening Gloves too, which we recommend as they give up to 12% chance to get double your seeds back.
Plant the onion seeds with the fertilizer and harvest your crops with gardening gloves. Keep repeating this process until you think you have enough seeds for your garden.
Now, instead of planting your seeds with Breeding Boost fertilizer, you will want to craft and plant your onion seeds with Mutation Boost fertilizer. This will give your crops more of a chance of becoming deviated. Which gives you a higher chance of getting the Grumpy Bulb deviation.
If you are on a PVE server, we highly recommend using the Buzzy Bee deviation too. This also helps deviate your crops. So, combining the mutation boost fertilizer and Buzzy Bee, gives you the highest and best chance possible for this deviation.
We managed to get two Grumpy Bulbs deviations instantly by using this method compared to other ways that we have tried.
As seen in the images below, you will notice the difference between deviated onions and the Grumpy Bulb deviation. The.deviation is just one onion on its own in the Planter Box compared to deviated onions. Where there will be many onions in the Planter Box.
