Where To Find The Ice Pot Deviation in Once Human
The new scenario, The Way of Winter, has just been released, and the developers have introduced 7 more deviations that need to be found! We have put together a complete guide on where to find the Ice Pot Deviation in Once Human and what its purpose is.
In order to find this deviation, it is a simple case of killing the final boss in PSI – Silo and hoping the RNG is in your favor and it drops. But you maybe completely new to the game or are stuck on a certain part. So, with our full detailed guide, we should be able to help you through the silo and get that Ice Pot deviation for your collection.
Where To Find Silo PSI
Before we can get the deviation we need to locate the silo itself. You will need to open your map and zoom all the way out and locate Vena Fjord. Then at the location (-327, 5838) you will find the Silo.
You can use the images below as guidance on where to find this.
Please note this silo is recommended for players that are level 30 and above. So prepare with good gear and plenty of ammo.
Finding the keycard
As you enter inside the silo, you will need to drop down and make your way through facility which contains lots of enemies. Slowly take your time and defeat them all. After doing so, grab all the loot crates.
You will be faced with a door that requires the Rosetta keycard. As seen in the image below. You will need to locate a blue storage chest on a table. This is located very close to the door. Simply loot the crate to discover the Rosetta Keycard inside.
Once acquired, simply turn around and use the keycard on the door to get to the next area.
Continue to follow the stairs down and kill the enemies in your path. You will also see a few loot chests around this area so keep an eye out for them.
Rainfall Reaper
You will now enter a new room that has a bar and stools in the middle. In order to proceed past this point, you will need to kill all the enemies in the area and wait for the Rainfall Reaper to spawn. (the monster with the umbrella head).
Upon killing this mini-boss, the doors will open, allowing you to go further through the silo.
After you have defeated the Rainfall Reaper, you can now go through the new doors that have opened, where you will notice a few sets of lasers.
Slowly make your way through the lasers by crouching or jumping until you get to the control panel at the end. Pressing this will turn off all the lasers (this is needed if you die or have teammates with you).
If you turn around when deactivating the lasers on the control panel. You will notice a set of stairs going up towards a locked door. Use the keycard again on this, and you can enter some extra rooms which have additional loot.
Once you are done, head back out to the control panel and follow the corridor down, until you get to more lasers and a blocked off door.
Equip an explosive and throw it at the door. This will allow you to enter another small secret room that contains more loot.
Head out of the room and make your way through the second set of lasers and use the next keypad, which turns off this set of lasers and leads you into the boss room.
The Final Boss
Unlike Silo PSI in the last scenario, you will NOT need to throw ice spikes at generators. It has been made alot easier, and you can simply shoot the boss and defeat it. It just means you will need to kill the mobs that run at you or dodge them and blast the boss down.
After defeating the boss and clearing up the odd enemies that are still around. Now head up to where the boss was located before you killed it, and you have a chance for the deviation to spawn.
If the deviation is not floating around for you, then sadly, you will need to repeat the dungeon again until it appears.
The Ice Pot Deviation
However, successfully getting the Ice Pot Deviation and placing it in a securement unit in your territory, you will notice you will be able to make Sticky Ice Crystals over time.
These Sticky Ice Crystals are essentially massive ice cubes that can be thrown on the ground. We have also noticed you can throw multiple and they stick together.
This makes very good cover while you shoot at your enemies, or if you want to get your teammate up, you can throw one ahead of them and have time to revive them.
If you are still having issues with getting the deviation, you can always check out the video below.
