Where to find the Rain Man in Once Human? It is a very popular question among the players in the Once Human community. So, we have put together a complete guide on where to find this deviant but also what the benefits are when having it within your territory.
What Does The Rain Man Deviant Do in Once Human
Rain Man is an extremely useful deviant to have in your territory as it can water your crops without having to set up any form of water irrigation. It will go to each of your crops and stand over it and literally “rain” on top of the crop to keep the irrigation level correct. This is super beneficial early on in the game, as you can not get the “Automated Irrigation” until the second phase of the scenario.
So you have to make the decision to plant your crops outside and wait for it to rain naturally, or you manually add water to them. Or you can get the Rain Man and let it water your crops for you, and we all know what we would prefer to do.
We highly recommend pairing this with a Growshroom and a Buzzy Bee deviant too. As these can plant and harvest your seeds and help make your crops deviate. So it works hand in hand with these two, to make your crop farming alot easier.
How Do You Get The Rain Man Deviant in Once Human
Now that we have explained what the deviant does, the next question is. How do you get this deviant? Well, it is a simple case of finding a “Rainfall Reaper” and beating it. This will drop a loot bag on the floor and give you a chance to drop the Rain Man deviant.
The elite enemy looks like a skeleton at first until you get closer to it and it will then change and have a red suit on and a red umbrella as a head.
As this is deviant is based on pure luck, you may have to kill this elite many times in order to get it to drop. I personally had to try this around 20–30 attempts, then a Hive member managed to get it on his second go.
Thankfully, there are numerous locations where this elite spawns, which means you may get this deviant on your journey when casually playing and doing quests in Nalcott.
The Best location To Find The Rain Man Deviant in Once Human
There are several locations where the elite mob Rainfall Reaper can spawn and give you the chance to get the Rain Man. As seen in the image below, you can see the Elite enemy locations which have been taken from our Interactive Map.
Although there are a few locations for this deviant, we highly recommend going to the Rainfall Reaper elite in Harborside which is south of Meyer’s Market. Simply because it is not far from Meyer’s Market, which has a teleporter inside. This means you can kill the elite enemy and attempt to get the deviant and, if you are unsuccessful, you can head to the teleporter in the stronghold, change worlds and then go back to the elite and kill it again instantly.
You can keep repeating this process until you get it. If you prefer to sit around and wait for the elite to spawn again, it has roughly a 10-15 minute respawn timer.
Now let’s go get that deviant! Head to the marker in the image below (in-game coordinates 5944, -7142). You will discover a boat that has been smashed into the dockside. This boat also has the mysterious crate inside of it for the Harborside rift anchor.
Run towards the front of the boat, and you will notice a skeleton-like figure standing there. Once you get close to it enough, you will see it change into the Rainfell Reaper. So prepare your best weapons and take down the elite enemy and get that Rain Man deviant!
