As is typical with most Survival games, much of the crafted gear is either based on “Tier” or material type. In the case of Dune, you have basic gear, and improved gear such as Iron-based weaponry and armor. Most weapons, armor and even buildable objects need to be researched to be able to craft them. However, there is a host of Unique items in the game that are not as straight forward. This page focuses on a complete list of all Uniques in Dune: Awakening.
Types of Uniques
Uniques come in several forms, such as:
- Copper, Iron, Steel and more
- Weapons
- Armor
- Utility Items
- Harvesting Tools
There is a whole host of Unique gear in the game to discover and use. Each of them provide their own powerful effect and use-case. Unique gear is typically found in two forms, “Imperial Permits” and on the Exchange.
How to Craft Uniques in Dune: Awakening
Crafting Unique items is not as simple of entering your Research tab and unlocking the recipe. Instead, you’ll have a very limited opportunity to craft your Unique items. The reason for this is the requirement of having an “Imperial Permit” consumable in your inventory.
Consuming a permit allows you a one-time craft of that Unique schematic. After that Unique has been crafted, you’ll no longer be able to craft it again until you have another permit. As a result, keep this in mind as you go through the dangers of Arrakis!
