Ashes of Creation Ranger Discussion Information
The Ashes of Creation Office Hours chat is the perfect opportunity for the AoC team to join the player discussion on topics they require feedback on. Hosted on Discord, join some of the Ashes of Creation team for a voice chat on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at 11am PST. The event will approximately last one hour.
It should be noted, however, that this is not a typical Q&A session. This session will utilize the Discord Stage. Every 10 or so minutes, the team will bring up small groups of players to participate in one of the discussion prompts on the current topic.
The Ashes of Creation Ranger Discussion is the focal point of this meet-up. This is a direct follow-up from the December Development Update livestream rounding out 2023. The forum feedback thread is located here.
What to Expect During the Ashes of Creation Ranger Discussion
In the upcoming session, the main topics are as follows:
- General Ranger Archetype Discussion – How do you feel about the direction the Ranger archetype is moving in, based on what was shared during the December 2023 Development Update?
- Ranger Ability Discussion – What do you like, and what concerns do you have about the look and feel of the abilities shared for the Ranger Archetype? (the dev team make a note of this not being tied to balance feedback.)
- Marks and Hunts – How do you feel about Ranger Marks and Hunts, and the interactions between them? What are your thoughts on this as a Ranger specific archetype mechanic?
- Ranger Class Fantasy – What makes a Ranger feel like a Ranger to you? In what ways have you experienced good Ranger class fantasy in other games or popular media that you’d like to see in Ashes of Creation?
