Having a fast way to gather logs in Runescape: Dragonwilds is not only efficient. In the world of Ashenfall, gathering logs and often other materials also directly contributes towards your experience gains for a Skill, too. For example, cutting trees and gathering logs increases your Woodcutting level.
Fortunately, there is a couple of easy methods to pick up, remember to use and utilize to ensure you’re getting the most out of your time.
Unlock Axtral Projection
Unlocking Axtral Projection is the first major step to increasing your log gathering speed and experience gain. At level 11 Woodcutting, you’ll gain access to the Spell. Each time Axtral Projection is off cooldown, you’re able to cut down multiple trees simultaneously – in one hit! Not only does this speed up the process of breaking apart the downed logs, but also gives a large chunk of EXP each time you use it.
Another Spell to remember to weave in, is the level 27 Woodcutting Spell “Splinter”. This Spell combos really well with Axtral Projection. This is because it can instantly destroy a full downed tree and give you the materials – saving time.
It’s important to use these Spells when possible to speed up both your progression and material gain per hour. However, keep in mind that to cast these Spells, you need Runes to do so. You’ll need the following Runes:
- Axtral Projection
- 5 Lunar, 10 Air
- Splinter
- 5 Nature, 10 Earth
