About The Game
Are you getting started in HELLDIVERS 2? Well if you are, you are in good hands. Hello, citizens of Super Earth! Do you think that freedom exists? Are you able to stand up to injustice and protect the weak? Make war to bring about peace. Give your life in defense of democracy. In this multiplayer cooperative shooter for the PS5 and PC from Arrowhead Game Studios, team up with up to three buddies and unleash havoc on an alien scourge that threatens the security of your home planet, Super Earth.
In the third-person squad-based shooter HELLDIVERS 2, players take control of the Helldivers’ elite forces and engage in an interstellar war to purge the cosmos of escalating extraterrestrial threats. Players shoot and eliminate the alien threats using a range of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers, etc.) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) from a third-person perspective. In order to have a more precise first-person camera perspective, players can also aim down the sights. Blood and mutilation are frequently sprayed throughout combat as players destroy the alien army or when friendly fire or environmental explosives strike them and their allies. Bloodstains and mutilated bodies are depicted in enemy camps and on the battlefield.
What To Expect
HELLDIVERS 2 gets you right into the action without wasting any time. You get dragged into Helldiver basic training following a gut-wrenching opening segment of obligatory propaganda (failing to pay attention is treason), explaining that the robotic Automatons and the “legally-distinct-but-still-the-bugs-from-Starship-Troopers” Terminids are attacking Super Earth. There is no turning back after the tutorial. Brave or scared, you will fight for democracy!
Once you have been mercilessly gassed up in one of the funniest tutorials I have ever played, you are given command of your own Super Destroyer spaceship and sent to the front lines with your friends. After engaging in the Galactic War, you are able to go to the Automaton or Terminids front to establish managed democracy and liberty on the worlds they have taken over. Every globe offers a variety of tasks with a range of goals, from demolishing terminid eggs to turning on your neighborhood’s nuclear-armed intercontinental ballistic missile. I think a true Helldiver will say “I can do this all day.”, right?
Why Should We Play It?
1.) Battle For Super-Earth
Your Super Earth-born rights are managed by democracy, peace, and freedom. Killer aliens are attacking the main tenets of our civilization, plotting to wipe out your planet and its ideals. In order to defend their home planet, propagate democracy, and drive back the enemy, the Helldivers must assume the position of peacekeepers in this galactic war.
2.) Obtain Over Kill Weapons
Everybody loves the RS-422 Railgun in HELLDIVERS 2 because it is an experimental weapon that prioritizes armor penetration but the choice is yours, soldier. You must choose how to eliminate each wave of enemies using a combination of primary weapons, support weapons, airstrikes, and much more.
3.) Practice Aim To Avoid Friendly Fire
Do not just run and gun in HELLDIVERS 2 because it might lead to friendly fire from your teammates. Whether it is a gun, grenade, air strike, or even when you call a pod to drop down supplies for you. Always be aware of your environment in order to avoid unintentional killing or even a hit.
Playstyles
Numerous unlocks in the Ship Module and Stratagems can significantly alter your gameplay. The Orbital 120MM HE Barrage is one of my favorite stratagems from my early days since it is ideal for seizing our concentrated enemy forces. If you are the kind of person who wants to declutter things, then this one is for you.
Even at higher levels, HELLDIVERS 2’s promotion system is still very strong. Though levels feel like they are coming when you want them to, especially on harder difficulties, progression did seem to slow down as you approached the page’s conclusion.
Warbond & Premium Warbond
What are these Warbonds? In essence, they are battle passes. You can employ a vast array of weaponry, armor, emotes, boosters, cosmetics, and even weapons from them in missions and defense operations for Super Earth. If you are just starting out as a Helldiver, you might have come across these in the game and wondered how they work. They are not the typical advancement system you see in a shooter.
HELLDIVERS 2 has a very generous progression system, and Super Credits—which can be earned both in-game and through real money purchases—may be used to purchase Warbonds. Additionally, you don’t have to spend any real money as you can purchase items exclusively with Medals earned in-game at the Warbonds store.
Warbond – Helldivers Mobilize
This is the free variant of the Warbond and it includes 80 items to be claimed if you grind well in HELLDIVERS 2. Well, that is a lot of Medals to collect before you complete this Warbond.
Premium Warbond – Steeled Veterans
There are just 25 items in this premium version of the Warbond, which may be obtained provided you have enough Super Credits & Medals in the game. Permit me to offer you a tip. Along with Medals, Super Credits can also be found during a mission. The search has begun!
Summary of HELLDIVERS 2
HELLDIVERS 2 looks like it is made by Lucas Films, but it is not. The game is unique because it focuses solely on ground battles, unlike other games which have both space and ground battles. One multiplayer game from the modern era that excels in many aspects is HELLDIVERS 2. It has an intelligent development mechanism that doesn’t constantly ask for money or depend too much on a paid battle pass. Moreover, it provides an excellent gaming experience.
It also offers you a ton of freedom. It introduces a ton of adversaries, variables, and objectives and varies them in unique ways to keep the missions feeling new. This game is perfect if you have a complete squad to play with so that your communication skills will vibe with each other leading to glorious victory!
