What to Expect From the Lost Ark January Update
The January Update is an incredibly huge patch coming to Lost Ark on January 10 at 8am GMT. To help summarize some of the major key points of the update, we’re here to help! As we all know, patch notes of this size can be very daunting or confusing. Some of the key features include:
- Inferno Mode Brelshaza Release
- New Adventure Island
- A huge slew of QoL updates
- A full sweep of Class Balance Changes
- New Achievements to match the release of Inferno Brelshaza launch
- New Events such as Freja Island
- Store Updates including Winter wardrobes, transformation skins, New Year cosmetics and more
- Skill Effect Improvements
- Much more!
The ongoing YouTube showcase of the patch notes, known as “Patchnotes with Henry” was released alongside the patch notes too, providing a visual showcase of the patch.
It should be noted that, unlike other Inferno Legion Raids that include every single gate, Brelshaza is focused purely on the final two gates of the original raid.
The Freja’s Island event is ripe with new activities. In the Lost Ark January Update, Toto’s Ice Castle will replace the Maze Garden. In the Ice Castle, players will become a Mokoko, icy floor tiles will begin breaking once they’re stepped on in the brand new mini-game. Players will need to break snowflakes using special skills.
