All Mars Tactics Characters
To get to know everyone in Mars Tactics, let us begin with one of the basic knowledge you would need to have before you dive into Mars Tactics. The Factions!
Factions: Sides of Mars Tactics
In life, you must learn to pick sides whether it be ordering from a coffee shop, a family argument, or in video games. Mars tactics are no exception when it comes to sides! Before we get into everything Mars Tactics Characters…Introducing, the two factions of Mars Tactics!
Every character in your team: Labor Faction
When starting in Mars tactics, players are immediately assigned to the labor faction. In every mission, the number of squad members may vary. In some missions, your squad may have 6 members all equipped with different special weapons and abilities. However, for some missions, you may have a different number of troops.
For the lack of better names, we have decided to give them more unique names correlating to their capabilities and what tools they carry with them all. Here are the first four squad members should get to know in the Mars Tactics Characters.
- C4 Specialist – Similar to the Frag Specialist, this Soldier carries an explosive that can be primed and thrown at certain locations. However, this explosive isn’t as damaging and cannot be thrown as far compared to the Frag Granade by the Frag Specialist. Even so, both do deal damage enough to down any enemy in its vicinity.
- Flash Specialist – in the Mars Tactics Characters and teams, players get to have one soldier who carries the Flash Granade or better known as “Flash bang” which stuns and disorients enemies for a few turns giving the whole team some time to move into the battle field. This squad member goes well with either the C4 Specialist or the Frag Specialist as it will give them time to prime and throw the explosive to eliminate enemies.
- Frag Specialist – As the name suggests, this member of the Mars tactics characters and the player’s swuad carries a Frag or Granade. This explosive tends to be more violent and more ballistic than the C4 bomb as it may cause more damage to buildings and bloackdes. Once thrown, it will eliminate any enemy in its vicinity as well as leave a crate around it that may serve as cover for your squad.
- Smoke Bomb Specialist – If everyone’s got their own thing in Mars Tatctics, we’ve gotta have Smoke bombs! It’s a must! As part of your Mars Tactics Characters, you will have one squad member who carried a Smoke Bomb. This explosive produces no damage but does conceal you from enemies and enemies from you.
All squad members have different specialists and some of them even carry guns that may differ from everyone else. For example, 1 to 2 members of your squad could carry sniper rifles that only shoot one bullet while the others have automatic rifles that deal just as much damage but are less accurate. Again, squads could vary in number, and in some cases, they may come in numbers of 10 or more.

Every character in your team: The Capital
The Capital Army. The faction of abundance in resources, violence, and firepower. The Capital’s main trademark would be its squads being high in numbers, ammunition, as well as explosives. In Mars Tactics, explosives will have to become your closest friend on the battlefield. Even in the Mars Tactics Characters list, we should not forget about the facts! Explosives are top tier and the Capital’s got a LOT of them. Oftentimes, when players are put in the Labor faction against the Capital, it is quite difficult to defeat them with their numbers. Even if it can be done, it is incredibly tedious and annoying.
In Mars Tactics, there aren’t many differences between the factions and their squads. Everyone carries almost the same items but in the capital army, the number of explosives may exceed more than 3 or more than 5 which is why it is quite difficult to get around this faction as the labor faction.
