The Day Before, an open-world MMO survival shooter, made headlines again with a new delay from March 1st to November 10th. They blamed the delay on a disclosed trademark dispute. They also delayed the 10 minutes of RAW footage they promised due to this too. Co-founders of the development studio, Fntastic, later admitted the delay was unrelated to the trademark issue and promised a gameplay showcase to appease the community. The Day Before Showcases 10 Minutes
The Day Before was introduced in early 2021. With a trailer that showcased similarities between both Tom Clancy’s The Division and The Last of Us. Over the next two years, it gained popularity and became one of the most highly anticipated games on Steam. With Unreal Engine 5 powering the game, PC and console players can look forward to enhanced graphics with NVIDIA DLSS 3 and ray-traced reflections.
In The Day Before Showcases, 10 Minutes gives us some different landscapes; urban and city. We saw the gun animations and shooting. We got to see a crafting station where you can change your gun. And finally, we saw some looting. What we didn’t get to see was any multiplayer interaction.
