What is the Luna New Year in Palia?
Kenli will invite you to the Luna New Year as seen through his mail. Luna New Year is a festive event held in Palia. It is celebrated through Maji Market. This event is dropped on Patch Ver 0.176 on January 30th. Players will have a chance to participate and also have different storyline quests dedicated to the Luna New Year. This event runs from January 30th up to February 27th only!
The Maji Market takes place on the eastern side of Kilima Village. Enter the Kilima Village Fairgrounds between 6:00 pm – 3:00 am Palian Time. Be sure to check it out as many events are held and I am sure you will be having fun there.
What are the Activities for Luna New Year – Maji Market?
The Maji Market introduces fresh festivities to ring in the new year! All residents of Palia are welcome to join in the celebrations beneath the radiant glow of the Luna moon. Here are all the activities that you could do at the Luna New Year in Palia!
Hotpot Mini Games
On the docks of the Fairgrounds, Near the sea, you can find large tables that are set for the Hotpot Mini game! Interact with any of the Hotpot tables to start the game. It is better to invite your friends since 4 players could share the fun! Don’t worry since the game can start if there are less than 4 players.
The Rules for this game are quite simple. Each player will receive 9 tiles and each tile will have an ingredient as well as a category, determined by its colored background.
The objective is to create three sets of three tiles each. Sets can be made with either a Three-of-a-Kind Set (3 tiles with the same category and same ingredient) or a Category Set (3 tiles of the same color category but with different ingredients). Three-of-a-kind sets are worth 120 points, and Category Sets are worth 60 points.
When a player achieves the three sets of goals of the game, they must click the button “Let`s eat” to end the game and reveal the cards of the other players. In the short term, the first to get the three sets wins!
Make a Wish
Another addition to the activities in Luna New Year in Palia is the wishing task that produces rewards. At each real-time reset, Chayne will provide you with one Wish Ribbon. These ribbons are utilized for making wishes at the Wish Tree. Take them to the fairgrounds and discover if your wish will be granted! I will guide you on how to wish and hope that it will come true!
First, Go to the Dye Station that is found near the Wish tree. Each Dye Color represents something. Each dye color symbolizes a distinct wish for the upcoming year. Experiment with each dye to unlock various rewards.
Blue represents Luck (Lucky Envelopes)
Orange represents Prosperity (Gold)
Pink represents Longevity (Renown)
Bring the dyed wish ribbon to the tree. Check it the next night, to see if the Maji`s have granted your wish!
Zeki`s Prize Wheel
Zeki will not miss the chance to gain profit in Luna New Year in Palia. Do you feel like you have some luck on your hands? Try Zeki`s Prize Wheel, Our Friendly Grimalkin! Players will initially receive a token just by speaking with Zeki during the “New Year, New Wishes” quest. This token is used to spin the wheel for prizes! The list of prizes includes gold, lucky envelopes, or a Zeki Coin!
Chapaa Chase
Have you heard about the Chapaa Chase from the previous Maji Market? Well, it’s back and it’s revamped in the latest Luna New Year in Palia. Thus, Chapaa is ready to play once more! Every midnight Palian Time, the Chapaa Chase will commence. To join, simply head over to the Chapaa Cage, and a 5-minute timer will appear on your screen. This signals that Chapaa is on the move and eagerly awaiting your attempt to catch them.
Once the duration has elapsed, the outcomes will be assessed, and Lucky Envelopes will serve as the reward. Here’s a handy tip: greater rewards are granted when you participate with your friends. As illustrated in the image provided, I received 17 Chapaa! See if you can surpass my achievement!
