What are Elderwood Stables for?
Stables are used in Palia for fast travel throughout the map of Elderwood. It helps each player reach distances faster and efficiently. Each use comes with a fee of gold coins, so make sure you have enough to use the stables’ fast travel.
Unlocking Elderwood Stables by completing the Through the Woods Quest
The Through the Woods quest will help you unlock stables through hints on the quest. Let`s start the quest by talking to Nai`o in Central Stables of Elderwood.
Elderwood Stables consists of 5 stables that need to be interacted with to unlock. You have unlocked the first one, which is the central stables. Now, I will guide you through the 4 stables, and let`s unlock them one by one.
Pinecone Stables
The location for the second stable is by the Mitana grove near the marker. Let`s head over to the location.
The pinecone stables are at the corner and beside the trees. Interact with it to unlock, and the first box in the quest will now be checked. Let`s head over to the next one.
Deep Woods Stables
For the next stable discovery, it is located just below the name of the deep woods. It is marked by our waypoint. Let`s traverse and head to the required area.
The light that comes from the treehouse ahead is the next Elderwood Stable. Make your way up and unlock the third one.
The trunk of the tree works like the vine in Bahari Bay. Make sure you have a decent amount of energy to reach the stables.

De Mer Dock Stables
The next Elderwood Stable is by the seaside part of De Mer Dock. Stay vigilant and careful on the way. There are creatures such as ogopuu that can hinder your path.
Unlock the Lakeside Stables, and let`s move on to the last stable for the Elderwood Map. One step closer to acquiring fast travel!
Mauvais Way Stables
The last elderwood stable is at the northernmost part of Mauvais Way. This is a long walk, but it is worth it because you could forage some of the materials, such as essence and infected woods.
The last stable to unlock, and you will gain fast travel throughout the elderwood for efficient foraging, quest completion, and much more. Good job! Now use the stable and head back to Nai`o at the central stables.
Nai`o will give you a stable sign which can be placed on your plot so you can gain access through the Elderwood much faster, even in your home. See, I told you all efforts lead to good rewards!
