Palia is a cozy adventure world wherein you can talk to villagers whom you can choose to be friends with or maybe even Romance! Did you know that there are 23 villagers found in the world of Palia? Yes, That is right! Being friends with all of them would bring a lot of cool stories and conversations that you could talk about! Here is our guide on how to become Friends with them!
What is Friendship Points in Palia
Players can engage with the NPCs or Villagers, building connections and gaining skills. The characters enrich Kilima Village with unique backgrounds. Players can form friendships with Villagers using Palia’s friendship feature. The friendship points are a metered system of any villagers. We will be discussing the Friendship tracker and how to raise Friendship Points in Palia later!
The Friendship Tracker in Palia
By exploring the menu, you will see the heart shape button that will lead you to the UI of friendship Tracker. This is the most important knowledge you need to know on how to raise Friendship Points in Palia!
On the left side, we can see all the lists of the villagers and their Friendship meter system. Take note that each villager has 4 levels of Friendship.
Each level has their own achievements and quests that are needed to accomplish to continue progressing their friendship meter. At the end or at level 4 of the friendship meter, you can unlock items that are unique to each of the villagers. So keep on being friendly and unlock all of their Items!
As we can see, The upper bar represents the Friendship points and the number beside it shows the current level of friendship with Hassian. Also, another bar, which is the lower one, represents the romance level.
NOTE: Not all the villagers in Palia can progress with romance just like Hodari. So keep that in Mind! The romance guide will be discussed on another guide, so stay tuned for that!
There are different icons in every quest you need to be accomplished to raise friendship points.
In every conversation you make with Villagers, you will see friendship icons. The heart icon beside it shows that this character have a romance meter.
How to Raise Friendship Points in Palia
Originally, the gameplay had 2 different ways on how to raise friendship points in Palia with any Villagers. However, we discover different strategies on how to raise friendship points in Palia.
1. Talk to every Villager’s once every Palian Day! A Palian Day resets every hour of Real World Time. So you can talk to every villager and gain points once every hour.
2. Giving gifts to the Villager once every real world day, so you can give them gifts every 24 hrs and gain points.
3. You could also give special gifts to the villagers. These special gifts will award you with extra points when given. Though, take note that each villager has different Special Gifts. You can know their weekly wants or special gifts by talking directly to them or through their friends. Their weekly wants will be displayed on the image below once you discover them.
4. Know the backstory of a villager. You need to familiarize their routine for you to be able to assist them and be friend with them.
5. Always check your mail. You can activate Quests by reading the mail sent by a villager.
Other quests also give friendship points and you can claim different rewards that are attached to mail.
Friendship Quests and Rewards
The blue dialog found beside their picture indicates that you should interact with them to accept the pending quest. Each character has their own stories, quest, and lore that are unlocked through filling their friendship points. Levels 2, 3 and 4 are the checkpoints wherein a cutscene to their stories will be unveiled! Also, reaching level 3 friendship will enable the player to have established and court the villager.
The foundation of friendship is communication and appreciating one another! Be friendly and Learn their backstory and daily routines to motivate you and create an unshakable bond between you and all the villagers in the world of Palia!’
