Where to get Clay in Palia

Greetings, fellow Palians! Are you having trouble finding Clay in Palia? Resources like wood and stones are easy to collect throughout the game. However, minerals like Iron, Copper, Palium, Silver, Gold, and Clay have specific areas where you can mine them. You may take a few hours of playing Palia to discover the hotspots of Clay. Fortunately, it is easier to spot than you think! Come and let’s go on an adventure on Where to Find Clay in Palia!

What does Clay look like in Palia?

Clay in Palia looks like a Brown-Orange stone. So, make sure to look around your surroundings!

How can we get Clay in Palia?

Mining Clay in Palia using Pickaxe

You can collect Clay in Palia by using a Pickaxe that you get from Hodari. Mining one Clay node is equivalent to 5-6 Clay. It also respawns regularly! If you or other players have already mined all the Clay nodes on the shore, wait for them to respawn. You can also get a bonus if you mine Clay with a friend or another player. So grab a friend and mine it together!

Where to find Clay in Palia?

Clay in Palia is located in coastal areas. It spawns randomly at the Fisherman’s Lagoon, Gillyfin Cove, and between grass and near the bridges of Remembrance Beach.

I recommend you to go, Hunting, Mining, Bug Catching, Fishing, or Foraging while waiting for Clay to respawn. Around these areas, you can collect Crystal Lake Lotus, Sundrop Lily, Gillyfin, Copper, Moss, etc.

What is Clay used for in Palia?

Ceramic Bricks

Clay is an essential raw material used for Ceramics, which is used in upgrading your crafters, furniture, buildings, and other useful items around your plot. To create Ceramics, you need to reach Level 2 in Mining and talk to Hodari, who you can purchase Basic Smelter Recipe for 100 gold and Ceramic Recipe for 50 gold.

Basic Smelter Recipe:

  • 40 Stones
  • 6 Flints
  • 3 Sernuk Hides

You can now produce Ceramics by forging Clay after you build and place your Smelter. Creating Ceramics takes two pieces of Clay and 4 minutes to make one ceramic brick. A ceramic brick has a value of 6 gold if you sell it.
