How to Enter the Dim Cavern?
You need to finish the quests “Chieftain’s Son” and “The Mystery of the Black Tower” to enter Dim Cavern.
After finishing and accepting the quests mentioned above you will be able to enter the Dim Cavern dungeon.
Tarisland Dim Cavern Guide Quick Tips and Strategies
Enemies
Dim Cavern is a dungeon full of spiders with different sizes including the boss. As you enter the dungeon you will soon encounter these small fries called Sirius spiders and Demon spiders. You will need to kill them to proceed to the boss room of the dungeon.
Boss
The Boss of the dungeon is Dacoris the Spider Queen. Dacoris is the first and easiest boss that you will face in the world of Tarisland, she has a handful of attacks that can be avoided easily in addition to this, Dacoris will enter its second phase after dropping a certain amount of health.
Boss Skills
Poison Blade
It has a 3-second cast time that deals damage in a fan-shaped area ahead.
Venom
It has a 2-second cast time, that will allow the spider queen to spit out a cloud off [Venom] at a random player, which will leave a cloud of [Venom] at the current position of the player dealing damage in a radius of 2 meters every second for 20 seconds.
Spider Web Shackles
This skill has a 2-second cast time which summons a spider web to trap and stun the target. Other players can break the [Spider Cocoon] to get rid of the effect.
Spider Silk Spray
Deals a multi-stage damage to all players.
Venom Scatter
The spider queen will spit out [Venom] to different locations on the field which will deal damage to the players hit, lasting 3 rounds in total.
In her second phase, she will spawn her spiderlings that you should step on and kill.
Recommended strategies
Let us divide the strategies per role since your party member will just be NPC, this will benefit everyone because not everyone uses the same role. In addition, the roles will be divided into 4 general roles.
Tank
As a tank, your job is to take the enemy agro so that your party members will stay healthy during and before the boss fight.
During the boss fight try to be mobile as much as you can. Be aware of your party members’ positions so that AOE attacks will not reach them.
Know your limits. As a tank you should take the damage instead of your members, but make sure to have a good spacing between you and the boss when you are low in HP.
Warrior
You will act as the second tank of the party. Warriors or Bruisers are a less tanky role but enough to take damage and deal a decent amount of damage.
Damage Dealers (Mages and Rangers)
There are two types of damage dealers: Skill types and Normal Attack types.
Damage dealers are the core of the party. They pretty much deal the most amount of damage compared to the other roles.
Mind your positioning. As a damage dealer you are squishy enough to take lethal damage in one single hit so keep in mind your positions.
Take note of your skills and mana. This is super important for mages since they deal damage through skills. When your mana depletes to zero you will become a dead weight to your party, so take your time and learn to control your mana and skills.
Supports (Healers and Buffers)
Healers and Buffers are pretty crucial to raid parties, they are the ones who keeps everyone alive.
Stay away from enemies. Without healers, a party won’t survive a dungeon dive unless the tanks are tanky enough. So make sure not to get near any enemies.
Learn skills and mana management. As a healer and support you will depend on your skill and mana, skill cooldowns are always the nightmare of skill casters.
