In Palia there are many skills in the game, such as Mining, Foraging, Fishing and even Hunting! You may ask yourself, what is the fastest way to level your skills in Palia or even where is the best spot to get a certain material. We have put together a guide for the best spots to gain experience for your skills so you can get yourself the high end Exquisite tools!
Before you read further on, make sure to bring plenty of high-focus food and keep your focus bar fulfilled. This will give you an increased amount of experience when leveling a skill. So you can get closer to the end-game tools!
Where is the Best Spot to Level up Hunting?
Just before you head out to hunt some wildlife, stock up on plenty of arrows. At first, it may be a little bit of a struggle when hunting as it does take 2 hits to kill a Sernuk / Deer. But as you advance to level 3, you can purchase the next-tier bow and better arrows from Hassain. This will allow you to kill the Sernuk in one shot.
Head towards the right side of Chapaa Crossing on the map and you will be surrounded by many Sernuk, fire away and collect your rewards! Remember to cook the meat on the campfire too when you get back, so you can get your cooking skills up.
Where is the Best Spot to Level up Mining?
This may vary due to different time zones in the game, but going around the rocky edge of Remembrance Garden, you are able to see many nodes of Copper Ore.
Once you achieve level 3, purchase and craft the Standard Axe from Hodari. You will be able to farm ore a lot faster and even hit the bigger and better nodes.
Where is the Best Spot to Level up Foraging?
If you head towards Coral Shores in Bahari Bay by either fast travel or walking. You will notice a large quantity of glowing light in the shallow water or on the beach. It will be either Coral, Shells or Unopened Oysters.
Each one you pick up will increase your foraging. That is why we recommend stocking up on lots of food before travelling here. This is also a really good gold making spot as you rack up lots of gold from selling these items. You can also have the chance of getting Pearls which sell for a good amount of gold too.
Where is the Best Spot to Level up Bug Catching?
Bug Catching ties in with our best spot for foraging, thanks to the Coral Shores area being packed with two different types of Crabs and Glow bugs. Be prepared with a variety of smoke bombs, so you can catch these creatures.
If you have issues with them not appearing, make sure to come back at different times of the day, as this can decide if the creatures spawn or not. If you see any shiny looking creatures, make sure to throw multiple smoke bombs at them or use better rarity bombs.
This will help you catch them faster and then you can decide to put them in your home or sell them for a good amount of gold!
Tips to Remember When Farming Resources
Keep your focus full! This is a big reminder as this will let you gain experience at a faster pace.
If you wish to speed up your leveling or resource gathering, we strongly recommend getting to level 3 on each skill, then going to the store of that skill and purchasing the next tier tool, such as the Standard Axe.
Please note, anything after make-shift tools. It will cost durability. Do not worry as you can head towards a repair station and either pay in gold or repair kits to fix this item. Failing to do this, will cause the tool to break and go back to the Make-Shift tier of that tool.
