According to Wikipedia, there have been multiple studios who have had an input into Dead Island 2 with the main Developer being Dambuster Studios. Previous games developed include Timesplitters, Crysis and Homefront.
Who is the Publisher?
The Publisher for Dead Island 2 is Deep Silver. They have published Chivalry 2, Saints Row, Dakar 18, Saints Row, the Dead Island Definitive Collection and more.
Is Dead Island 2 Co-Op?
Dead Island 2 will feature multiplayer co-op. Previously it was though that you can have up to 4 friends, but recently its been known that you can only have 3 people co-op.

As it stands, we do not have a definitive list of weapons, but we can take some guesses based on the trailers we’ve seen and what can appear. Is Sam B in Dead Island 2?
Due to the events of Escape Dead Island and Dead Island: Epidemic not being considered canon by Deep Silver, his status was, much like the other heroes, unknown after the events of Riptide until his appearance in the 2022 reveal of Dead Island 2!
What is the Max Level?
We don’t have any confirmation of level in Dead Island 2, but if its similar to Dead Island 1, you will be able to reach around level 60.
Why did Dead Island 2 get Cancelled?
According to Wikipedia, The managing director of Yager Development, Timo Ullmann, later stated that the company’s departure from the project occurred because “Yager and Deep Silver’s respective visions of the project fell out of alignment“. Yager Productions filed for insolvency in July 2015.
Will Dead Island 2 release on Steam?
As is currently stands, Dead Island 2 is planned to release exclusively on Epic Games Store on the PC. That being said, like most Epic’s exclusive deals, it will likely be temporary.
Is there DLC?
Currently it seems there will be three DLC content. All of these you can get by Pre-Ordering the game. Memories of Banoi, Pulp Weapons Pack and the Golden Weapons Pack.
