You will come across Chayne in various spots around Kilima village. Quite often, you will find him engrossed in offering his prayers to the Dragon at the Dragon Shine, nestled within Maji’s Hollow on the upper right side of the map. Another place to spot him is the village’s apothecary, where Chayne frequently lingers after his prayers at the Dragon Shrine. This spot can be found just below the village, situated in the Reflection fields right beside Elouisa’s house.

And if, by chance, Chayne isn’t at either of these two locations on the map, you will likely find him spending time at the local inn owned by his long-time friend, Ashura. This inn is located in the heart of the main village. When night descends, Chayne retreats to his home near the Phoenix Fall, seeking restorative slumber.

Friendship and Romance

Palia has introduced a system called Friendship Level, enabling players to engage in interactions with the charming villagers residing in the regions of Kilima village and Bahari Bay. Friendship points can be acquired through two distinct avenues. The initial approach involves initiating conversations with any village inhabitant. These dialogues refresh on an hourly basis in real time, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities to engage with the villagers. Alternatively, another means of accruing friendship points is by bestowing thoughtful gifts upon the residents. Notably, each villager can be gifted once daily within the realm of the real world, contributing to the development of your rapport.

Chayne's Friendship Level

After uncovering these items, they are integrated into the weekly wishes section of the friendship user interface. As you progress through different friendship tiers with the villagers, accomplishing their quests brings forth a diverse array of rewards. The game acquires an extra dimension of thrill due to the unique nature of these rewards. These exclusive advantages become available solely upon the successful completion of quests offered by the villagers.

Palia also incorporates a romantic option. granting villagers within Kilima the opportunity to delve into more profound connections with players, transcending the boundaries of mere friendship once a specific level of intimacy is attained. Within Kilima, a cherished tradition revolves around exchanging pins between partners, serving as symbols of affection and commitment. in the world of Palia, maintaining multiple romantic interests or partners is completely natural and widely embraced. It’s worth highlighting, however, that the constraint of wearing just a single pin at any given time prevails! Unfortunately, you cannot have a romantic relationship with Chayne in the game, as he is already devoted to serving the Dragon in the village.

Conclusion

That concludes our introduction to the sage of Kilima village, Chayne. Unfortunately, that is all the information we currently have for him. He is not that big of a character in the game yet, but he brings a valuable lesson not just for the villagers but also for the players themselves. We hope to see more quests regarding him and we’ll keep you updated.

As the game is still in its open beta, we’ll work hard to bring you new information about him and update this guide in the future. If you found this guide helpful, let us know in our community’s discord. Check out more guides for Palia on our Palia homepage!
