Visit Delaila and discuss the potential consequences if the taxes aren’t paid. Delaila explained that her grandfather had signed a contract, and according to their property deed, the taxes are set at a fixed rate “in perpetuity.” To her understanding, this signifies that the taxes are meant to last indefinitely. Report back to Kenli and let him identify that the Daiya Deed is the real deal.
Kenli emphasized the urgency of locating the contract deed before his sister proceeds with the eviction of the Daiya Family. He entrusted you with the key to the records room, where it’s believed the deed can be located.
