What is Pax Dei Founder’s Pack?

Pax Dei Founder’s edition is a pre-purchase of the game for its upcoming early access. You can choose from three Founder’s packs:  JOURNEYMAN, ARTISAN, and MASTER. Each Founder’s edition offers access to the game for the entire duration of early access, which will take until June 2025, possibly longer, and grants the user a Founder discord role, where you can bring your suggestions directly to the devs team.

Founder’s Pack: JOURNEYMAN

This pack is available for €39.99. In this offer you can have:

This pack is available for €59.99. In this offer you can have:

By purchasing directly on their website, Pax Dei offer a bonus Recipe, the Gallian Gargoyle recipe. Please note that this bonus recipe will not be available if you purchase the game directly on Steam starting June 18th.

Early Access in Pax Dei

Early Access will start on June 18, 2024, and last until June 2025 or even longer. Throughout the early access, the devs plan to expand the game in terms of content and systems. Early access will have no subscription implemented to keep your plot, but they might add this feature in the future after the game release.

What Founders Pack Is Right For You?

It is important to find which Founders Pack is right for you, as there are many advantages to purchasing the more expensive packs than the journeyman one. It definitely depends on what type of player you see yourself as in games. Pax Dei is a social sandbox MMO where you will have many different roles within your clan, such as a gatherer/farmer, explorer or base builder.

Of course, you are not locked into any of these roles, but if you find yourself more like the type of player to want to go and explore the mountains and check out the caves/dungeons or even happy to just gather and feed resources to the clan, then the ‘Journeyman’ would be very ideal.

If you find yourself as a builder type who loves the “roleplay” vibe, then purchasing the Artisan or Master pack would be way more ideal for you, as this gives you more plots of land, so you can create a bigger structure as they can combine together. You will also get even more exclusive recipes to make your house/building look more unique than others.

PLEASE NOTE – You can always upgrade your pack after the 18th

Another huge advantage of each Founder’s Pack is having more plots than the others and character slots. These plot(s) are bound to your account, so if you want to join multiple clans and communities on different servers or shards, this gives you the freedom to choose if you want to divide your plots across those communities.

• Journeyman pack – Ideal for a “farmer” / “explorer” as it contains a single plot which might be all you need, as you provide supplies and resources for the community.
• The Artisan pack is very good as it gives 2 plot(s), having the freedom to share in the community as it’s a social sandbox MMO, or split the plot into two where you share one plot with the community while you use the other one for yourself.
• The Master pack is more ideal for a builder / crafter as it has 4 plot(s), which gives you more plots than the other packs. It also gives you the ability to have a plot in different communities with exclusive recipes that you can craft.

What to Expect During the Early Access

The players will expect to see major updates during this time, which will require the devs to wipe the game or reset the world and could potentially make the playerbase start over again. During this process, your character will not reset.

Some deep changes might occur in the skill system or the crafting progression, which could lead to a reset of the characters though, but not the plot. That being said, the dev will do their best to keep such wipes as few and far between as possible.

In choosing a shard/region, you are free to choose where you want to go, also, your account is not bound to a single shard or region. You can still create character and choose where you can claim across different regions, However, this region is not interconnected to other and as of now characters transfer are unavailable.

Plan After the Early Access

• Pax dei wil have a one-off initial purchase, which will give you access to the game with no plots.
• Plots will be a subscription model, more plots that you want, which means more upkeep cost. (more monthly cost for you). – This is not 100% set in stone yet, but Devs are leaning towards this.
• The Founder’s Pack you pick now doesn’t commit you to anything past Early Access. 
• They promised to be transparent about their future pricing plans and provide more details as we approach the official release.
