Where to Find Copper in Pax Dei

In Pax Dei, collecting resources is needed for you to progress through-out the game. Some resources are difficult to find, for example, copper.

This ore is one of the primary ingredients to create copper ingots which can be crafted into bronze ingots with the help of tin ingots when you put it in a basic furnace.

Bronze is one of the primary ingredients for creating jewelry together with some materials when you start crafting on a basic jewelry crafting table. In this article, we’ll delve into where you can find/farm copper.

Where to find Copper

To start, click [M] to open your map. If you look in the lower left corner, you can see the different biomes. Biomes are the properties of lands on the map. Ores can be found mostly in the lands of stone. There are some occurrences where some minerals can be found outside the land of stone.

Once you see a land of stone biome, from there you can now start looking around the area for mineral deposits. Not all ‘land of stone’ biomes have copper nodes in them.

At least 3 out of 5 places that we visited had the nodes in them. Persistence is needed to find and locate some nodes in the game.

How to mine Copper Ore

To mine this ore, you’ll need any type of pickaxe, as copper ore is a very early on resource, you can use a low-tier pickaxe such as the Stone Pickaxe, which costs 2 Long Rough Wood Stock and 1 Gneiss Rock to craft.

Importance of Mining Copper Ore

Mining resources like ore is a must in Pax Dei. It is required for most things such as basic tools to even crafting weaponry and gear.

The ingredients required to make copper ingots are very simple. You must have copper ore and charcoal. By putting these ingredients together into abasic furnace, you can create an ingot.

Tin deposits are often found in the same locations as copper deposits. So make sure to gather this as well when you are out on your journey.

After you collect tin ore, you can craft the basic furnace and use this to create tin ingots.

If you combine a copper ingot and a tin ingot together with charcoal in a basic furnace, you can craft a bronze ingot.

As you craft the bronze ingot, it can be used in jewel crafting to create various types of jewelry, such as bracelets, necklaces and rings.

Accessories are needed in the game as this gives buffs to the character or, of course, it does the obvious, makes your character stand out from the rest.
