In the dense forests and sprawling landscapes of Enshrouded, honey can be harvested from the beehives nestled atop trees. These beehives, identifiable by their gray bags hanging from branches, and are sometimes found in clusters of two or three. Basically, to collect honey, approach the tree housing the beehive and harvest its contents.
Harvesting Techniques
To gain access to lofty beehives situated beyond easy reach, it is advised to employ a bow and arrow. By skillfully aiming and launching an arrow at the hive from a distance, explorers can avoid stirring up aggressive bee swarms that might become hostile during honey retrieval at close quarters.
Prime Locations in Enshrouded
The starting area near Longkeep and the initial Flame Altar offers ample opportunities for honey gathering. Adventurers are encouraged to explore the eastern region of Longkeep, where numerous trees adorned with beehives await. Moreover, by systematically scouting this area, a significant quantity of honey can be obtained to fill-up one’s supplies.
Alternate Beehive Locations
If beehive in trees are unintentionally cutdown near Longkeep, alternative sites can be explored. The Diadwyn, located west of Ancient Spire – Revelwood, offers a wealth of trees with beehives.
But since Revelwood requires you to have a Level 3 Flame Strength in your Flame Altar to pass the Shroud, venturing the west of the Ancient Spire – Springlands, The Homestead, is suggested/recommended for beginners in the game’s early stages as it also boasts a plentiful supply of honey.
Resource Respawn Mechanics
After harvesting a beehive, it will vanish from its current location but reappear in the same spot the following day. Following this phenomenon allows for sustainable honey collection without the need to traverse/venture great distances. Additionally, a respawn mechanic exists wherein resources, including beehives, instantly regenerate upon reloading the game by restarting the server, or by returning to the main menu (solo only)—a tactic savvy adventurers can exploit for efficient farming.

Eventually, as adventurers progress in their journey, they will encounter (rescue) the Farmer character and embark on quests with her. Completing these quests eventually unlocks the Beehive Smoker—a valuable tool for crafting beehives and harvesting honey and wax at will. This way, you can build your own Honey farm and craft potions in the game!
