CROSSBOW & DAGGER PVP DPS BUILD
Introduction
The Crossbow Dagger build is your typical Assassin/Rogue style build that focuses on pouncing on your enemies and bursting them down in one quick rotation. Compared to Daggers Greatsword, which guides you more towards a full-melee brawler/bruiser type gameplay, Crossbow Dagger is an ultimate “in-and-out” class that benefits from some ranged attacks, slows and general chaos caused by your dashes and invisibility.
In typical group PvP and GvG, the playstyle revolves around picking a high priority target, pre-buffing with skills that apply poison, double your projectiles, increase off-hand activation chance, etc., then leaping onto your enemy and bursting them down within the buff activation window. You then have incredible utility and movement skills to slow and kite your enemy until your next buff window or disappear into the shadows if they are dead.

Rotation
In group PvP scenarios, don’t just leap from person to person – pick a squishy target (avoid wasting your burst on a tank) and start pre-buffing: Poison, Thorn Gale, Selfless Infiltration (Epic, optional). Apply Mortal Mark, consider Knife Throwing (optional), then Nimble Leap into the target and immediately Quick Fire. This part of rotation gives you incredible burst with off-hand activation, extra attack speed, doubled projectiles, extra damage on Enfeebled (poisoned) targets.
Follow up with Q Roll into Multi Shot, Predatory strike, Brutal Incision, Fatal Stigma. If the target is not slowed from Knife Throwing, close the distance with Shadow Strike during this part of your rotation. Consider Ankle Strike if you prefer to lock down your opponents a bit more.
Get out and dash towards your party with Nimble Leap + Selfless Infiltration, or if it was used to pre-buff, use Camouflage Cloak to disappear.

Dexterity is your main DPS stat and a lot of the gear will need to be focused around this attribute. Your second priority is Wisdom as it increases your cooldown speed, mana regen and most importantly – maximum damage. While you will not have perfect stats from the start, your goal is to stack Critical Hit so that eventually you can rely on your Critical (boosted by Wisdom) and drop Perception almost completely (as Perception contributes to “Hit” which becomes less important if you have high enough Critical Hit). As you reach ~1000 Ranged Critical Hit, you can focus on Stacking Dexterity and Wisdom only with leftover points spent in Strength and Perception (whichever feels more beneficial).
This is where your Epic weapons come into play – you might feel that your build is lacking in certain areas (HP regen, Max Damage) until you get these weapons.
– Rex Chimaerus Rake Bow (crossbows) is a strong easy to get weapon with a passive that restores HP when you proc Off-Hand attack.
– Lequirus’ Thorny Edge (daggers) provide base damage increase upon using dagger mobility skills. It is relatively easy too get, but to unlock its full potential you would need to be weapon-swapping to daggers before leaping with your Shadow Strike.
– Rex Chimaerus Fang (daggers) is an amazing “stat-stick” that gives 8 Dexterity at base level and scales to 11 Dexterity (!) at lvl6. You don’t have to weapon-swap to benefit from this one but the downside is that it comes from a ping-based dungeon boss.

Another option in this priority is to hard focus on upgrading Nature’s Power to Epic as the first milestone in your passive priority. This is due to Nature’s Power wielding quite a power spike when upgraded.
