Enchanting in Throne And Liberty follows a lucked based system but unlike other games with similar systems Throne And Liberty guarantees progress every time you try to enchant and level up your gear. This article will help you understand the basics of Enchanting and obtaining growthstones.
Enchanting
Enchanting is the number one form of upgrading your gear, players can level up their existing pieces of gear using growthstones collected from a number of ingame activities like contracts, crafting or questing.
Where To Find Growthstones
Growthstones can be obtained through a lot of ingame activities including world bosses it can also be found in some of the ingame shops. The primary ways of obtaining Growthstones are:
- Quests
- Contracts
- Crafting
- Contract Coin Vendor
- Taedal’s Tower
- World Bosses
- Lithograph Book
- Open World Hunting
You can also upgrade your growthstones rarity by crafting them into a higher rarity at the corresponding vendor (Armor,Weapon,Accessories crafter)
Equipment Upgrading
Upgrading equipment works based on 4 different types of upgrade rates: Common,Intermediate,Greater and Special. Each with their own chances. When leveling up a piece of gear 40% of the overflowing growth transfers to the next level. You can also click the button to continue to upgrade to quickly upgrade your gear.
Transferring Levels
After having reached the maximum level on your current gear you can transfer it to the next tier using the transfer method, this does come with a heavy Solant cost. Enchantment levels:
- Common: level 6 –> Uncommon: level 3
- Uncommon: level 6 –> Rare: level 3
- Rare: level 9 –> Epic: level 6
Transferring gear of the same rarity will transfer 100% of the current enchantment value 1-1.
Tips And Tricks
Using ALT (default) you can see the maximum level enchantment your item can go to, as an example this Toublek’s Strafing Bow will end up at:
- Damage 61~194
- Dexterity 11
- Animalia Damage Bonus 32
- Cooldown Speed 10.7%
Using this method you can better plan your builds and your gear ahead of time, keep in mind this feature is currently still pretty buggy and will not work in a few edge cases.
