Introduction

The Greatsword And Dagger weapon combo can be played in all types of content being especially powerful in 1 on 1 situations. This build excels in the hands of a proactive player always looking for the quick and easy kills in the enemies backline or if you are looking to become the best dueler out there.  

We suggest building your gear around heavy attack and melee evasion giving you the best chances at survival and the highest DPS possible, you should be able to push 1000 melee evasion easily using traits and melee evasion gear. We also suggest using weapons the from Paola’s Dimensional Box:
1. Lequirus’s Thorny Edge
2. Magnaduke’s Beserk Blade 

Untill you can upgrade your Magnaduke’s Beserk Blade to Adentus’s Savage Blade. 

Important milestones in order of importance: 

  1. Weapons as mentioned above
  2. Imperator Set bonus (2) 
  3. 10000 HP
  4. 1000 melee evasion , 400 ranged evasion, 400 magic evasion
  5. 600 hit, 1000 critical hit 
  6. 400+ Stun Chance (optional but highly recommended) 
  7. Lady Knight Kamarshea Guardian or Green Ranger Elowen Guardian (situational)

Alternatively you can replace Knife Throwing With Inject Venom to increase your critical hit using the Vicious Fangs Passive. This will also get you some light damage over time, this shouldn’t be necessary in most cases as the build intends to 1 combo most targets. 

Tips

We recommend engaging with Shadow Strike and Ascending Slash after prebuffing yourself using DaVinci’s Courage for the attack speed. After players get swept onto the ground you can now use Stunning Blow to Stun them and continue your combo using your higher DPS skills like Brutal Incision or Death Blow.

Tips

Making sure you use mobility skills like your Block or Shadow Strike every 6 seconds will make the most of your Shadow Walker passive and make sure you are activating your Lequirus’s Thorny Edge weapon passive for extra flat damage bonus too.
