During your time on Grounded, you will discover Pet Armor. You can tame and obtain a pet to keep you company on your adventure. This can be either a Aphid, Gnat or a Weevil. You can follow our guide on How To Get A Pet. Once you have managed to get yourself a pet, you can finally craft it some armor for a few good reasons. This includes more carry storage on your journey or even just for cosmetic looks.
Lil Black Helm
The Lil Black Helm is the second best pet armor with its 4/10 rating on the defense. As you can see with the photos below, it is a smaller version of the Black Ant Helm. To unlock this recipe for the Lil Black Helm you will need to analyze the Black Ant Part. You can equip this piece of armor once crafted by building a Pet house and interacting with that. Just like the other pet armors you will also gain +Max Health Perk which gives the pet double the amount of health and also a big boost in the pets overall happiness, so this is highly recommended for your pet.

Lil Fire Helm
The Lil Fire Helm is classed as the best pet armor due to its 5.5/10 defense. It is based of the Fire Ant Helm. To be able to craft this armor you will need to analyze the Fire Ant Part. You can equip this piece of armor once crafted by building a Pet house and interacting with that. Just like the other pet armors you will also gain +Max Health Perk which gives the pet double the amount of health and also a big boost in the pets overall happiness, so this is highly recommended for your pet.

Lil Goggles
The Lil Goggles are at the lower end of the graph with 2.5/10 defense but our team think its definitely one of the coolest looking helms for pets. To be able to craft this armor you will need to analyze the Mushroom Brick. The Lil Goggles is a smaller version of the Grub Goggles, but can only be used for by your pets You can equip this piece of armor once crafted by building a Pet house and interacting with that. Just like the other pet armors you will also gain +Max Health Perk which gives the pet double the amount of health and also a big boost in the pets overall happiness, so this is highly recommended for your pet.
