Below we have put together overall the best weapons in Grounded. We totally understand that our top 10 weapons may not be the “best” to what others think but we have formed a top 10 of the best weapons for all situations on your adventure,
The aim of our top 10 best weapons is to benefit you and your team more than just kill things easy. We have taken into account many things before creating this list, such as crafting materials cost, utility, accessability and of course damage. A prime example is the Sour Battle-Axe, it is extremely powerful against enemies that are weak to Sour but also you can use this for chopping and is cheap to craft for such an insane weapon!
Red Ant Club
The Red Ant Club is a tier 2 club which packs an extremely high punch for damage and stun. This weapon earned itself the spot on the top 10 best weapons as it can be obtained and crafted very early on in the game, thanks to the Red Ant hill that is near the starting location, you can slowly kill these or lure a stinkbug and collect many Red Ant parts. Our team liked this weapon so much they kept it till end game, due to making their lives easy with having to kill all sorts of enemies such as Orb weavers which we all hate to fight! We advise pairing this weapon with the Ladybug Armor.

Insect Bow
The Insect Bow is a tier II bow that can shoot every type of arrow. The reason why this gets a place in our list for best weapons is for the reason it can be very versatile, yes it is not as strong as the Black Ox Crossbow but you can get your hands on this beauty early on in the game. It has very fast reloading time and good damage, so you can easily kite your enemy and fire arrows at it, A massive benefit we found is that it can shoot all types of arrows including the Bomb Arrow, this will help massively as you will come up against many walls that need to be blown up to progress through the game, We advise pairing this with the Moth Armor and the Marksman’s Cap to maximize the most out of this.

Antlion Greatsword
The Antlion Greatsword is a Tier 3 double-handed sword, The Antlion Greatsword earns it place as one of the best weapons due to several reasons. Firstly you can obtain this once reaching the Sandbox and fighting Antlions, which will be necessary to craft the Antlion Armor for the Sizzle protection. But once you’ve defeated a couple of these enemies, you can craft this absolute monster, It is a perfect replacement for the Tier 2 Red Ant Club, We can assure you, you wont be disappointed with the damage and stun it outputs.

Spicy Coaltana
The Spicy Coaltana is a very powerful sword that does about the same amount of damage as the Antlion Greatsword, except it comes with a spicy perk on it. It is a 2-handed weapon. The Spicy Coaltana was our main weapon to fight off any spiders thanks to the Spicy augment that is on the weapon but we also had equipt the Hot Cha Charm which lets attacks inflict 15 extra Spicy Damage. All them scary Orb Weavers or Wolf Spiders become no issue thanks to this weapon. This is why it earns itself the spot on the top 10 best weapons.

Tick Macuahuitl
The Tick Macuahuitl is a sword-type weapon crafted from parts of a Tick. We had a tough time deciding which to put with either the Tiger Mosquito Rapier or the Tick Macuahuitl but this wins thanks to the extra little damage. This weapon is incredible due to the Life steal perk which restores health equal to 6% of the damage you deal. So once you upgrade this and match it with the upgraded Ladybug Armor. The armor sleek effect increases the amount of health received from any healing options by 17.5%. This stacks extremely well and lets you keep swinging while getting healed.

Club of the Mother Demon
The Club of the Mother Demon is currently one of the strongest weapons in the game, It is better than the Mint Mace terms of damage but has no elemental damage. The Club of the Mother Demon is crafted once killing the Broodmother, you may have to kill the Broodmother a couple of times to get all the parts to craft this weapon. Thankfully when you craft this weapon, you can pair it with the Apex Predator mutation which can inflict Venom to the target, We advise pairing this weapon with the Mask of the Mother Demon helm too, which stacks with the Apex Predator mutation, You will form a Heavy club that is extremely powerful with poison damage.

Widow Dagger
The Widow Dagger is a Tier 3 weapon that earns a spot on the list thanks to the many features it has. Once earning yourself the victory of killing a few tough Black Widows, you can finally craft the Widow Dagger, it is classed as the highest damage dealer in the game thanks to the extremely fast attacks and the poison damage.
Make sure to equipt the Widow Dagger with the Ladybird Shield, Mask of the Mother Demon and the Black Widow Armor. Upgrade all of these to unlock the sleek ability benefits which all stacks for poison damage. Finally use mutations such as Assassin, Coupe De Grass and Trapper Peep.r. You will pack such a big stack of crits of poison, no enemy will be a match for you.
An important benefit to the Widow Dagger is that you can use this as a tier 3 Underwater Dagger. You are able to get Pond Moss in the ponds in the upper yard. Sadly it does not inflict poison underwater.

Scythe of Blossoms
The Scythe of Blossoms is a tier 3 weapon that is able to deal both chopping and slashing damage. We discovered it is important to only upgrade through the Mighty tree as it will keep both chopping and slash damage. If you do put an elemental on it such as Mint, it will lose slash damage and be replaced with the element, The Scythe of Blossoms is an extremely good weapon for multiple reasons such as it works well the Assassin’s Armor with all the critical perks. The weapons stacks with its critical damage perk and if you do decide to use this, you can still use the Assassin mutation as the weapon is classed as a dagger.
Please note the Scythe of Blossoms can be used as a Tier 3 cutting axe like the Termite Axe. This will save you carrying an extra item for no reason.

Sour Battle-axe
The Sour Battle-axe is at Tier 3 weapon that can obtain and crafted after defeating Director Schmector. The Sour Battle-axe makes it on our top 10 thanks to its high damage it can perform but can also be used as a Tier 3 axe for chopping purposes, like the Termite Axe. So you can carry one less item on your adventure. This weapon is perfect for the JavaMatic Event due to all enemies being weak to sour, You definitely wont be disappointed with this monster Battle-axe.

Mint Mace
The Mint Mace is a Tier 3, 2-handed weapon that is one of the strongest clubs when it comes to damage. It does have less than Club of the Mother Demon, but with the Mint perk it has, it is super effective on enemies like the Infected Wolf Spider. It also works well with using the Roly Poly Armor, If you wish to get this weapon you will need to unlock the Minotaur Chest on the picknik table. After, you can speak to BURG.L and unlock the recipe for 2500 Raw Science.

If you get the chance or have the resources to craft these, you will not be disappointed. Sadly for us, the decision to not include these instead of the others was extremely close. This was due to a few factors. Such as resource cost or not having multi purpose use or even if it was just hard to obtain the recipe.
